Services
We offer a range of assessment and therapy services for children and families.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy provides children and teens with a safe and supportive space to explore their thoughts, feelings, strengths, and needs. Therapy can help young people build coping skills, improve confidence, and better understand their emotions and behaviours.
Support is tailored to each child. Areas of expertise include sibling and peer relationships, academic pressures, learning disabilities, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, behavioural concerns, and developmental challenges.
The goal is to help children and teens feel understood, develop healthy coping skills, and succeed at home, school, and in everyday life.
The therapy plan is personalized and may include evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behaviour therapy, applied behaviour analysis, acceptance and commitment therapy, and other strengths-based strategies.
Psychoeducational / Psychological Assessment
Psychoeducationl and psychological assessments help to better understand how your child learns, thinks, behaves, and feels. Every child is unique and an assessment can help identify both strengths and areas where extra support may be needed.
Assessments are personalized for each child and may help with questions related to giftedness, learning disabilities, giftedness, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, emotional or behavioural challenges, developmental or intellectual disabilities, adjustment difficulties, and other school-related concerns.
After the assessment, parents receive a clear report with practical recommendations to help support their child at home, at school, and in the community.
Mental Health Assessment
A mental health assessment helps children and teens better understand their emotions, thoughts, and behaviours. The goal is to get a clear picture of what they are experiencing, what is going well, and where they may need support.
This type of assessment focuses on mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation, behavioural concerns, relationships, and adjustment to life changes.
Parent / Caregiver Support
Parent / caregiver support sessions provide a supportive space to better understand and navigate a child’s emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs. The focus is on working together to make sense of current challenges and explore practical, realistic ways to respond that fit your child and your family. Parents and caregivers are already the experts of their child. These sessions can help build on that knowledge with additional support.
Clinical Supervision
Clinical supervision is available for psychologists in supervised practice, social workers, psychotherapists, and other mental health clinicians.
Supervision is a collaborative and supportive process that focuses on professional growth and evidence-based practice. It is tailored to each supervisee’s learning goals and stage of training, with an emphasis on building confidence, strengthening clinical skills, and supporting reflective practice.
We aim to create a welcoming space for ongoing learning and professional development, whether you are early in your career or looking to deepen specific areas of practice.
